Privacy

This app holds personal health information: medications, the times they were given, who gave them, and whether the person confirmed.

Consent is captured at setup, by the carer who sets the person up, on that person’s behalf.

Access is limited by role: a carer sees only the people they were invited to; a facility manager sees their own residents.

Every view and every change is written to an audit trail that cannot be edited.

An export of everything held, or a full deletion, is available on request.

This is handled under POPIA, South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act.
